PUMPKIN CARVING!!!

This year we enjoyed some pumpkin carving with many laughs. This was Carmella's first pumpkin carving and she loved it! She dug right in and really got the full experience. By the time we were done she was a mess and so was my diningroom :) But all the kids had so much fun and the pumpkins turned out great!

While Carmella was napping and we were waiting for her to wake to carve our pumpkins I let Adam and his friend Jarrett make some yummy halloween cookies.

Daddy Doll

While Joe is serving on this current deployment we are trying to get things to help the kids. For Carmella I found a site called daddydolls.com. These dolls were highly recommened and said they are a great way for kids to cope with a parent being gone. Each doll is personalized and made to order. I sent a photo of Joe and picked what the back would be. We also thought it would be a great added touch to include a voice recorder for her. While she has the doll we are waiting for Joe to record a personal message and send me the recorder so I can place it within Carmella's daddy doll. We are so happy we found this site, Carmella LOVES her daddy doll!!

Hard to believe that Adam is turning 8 this year! He has grown up so much and we are so proud of him! He enjoyed a Ohio State party with friends and family and everyone who attended had a blast! Happy Birthday ADAM!!!!!

BEACH TIME!!

While having John and Michael for there visit we thought it would be great to go get some family time in at the beach. This was a fun experience for all, and allowed Carmella to see the ocean for the first time. She was unsure of the sites and the sand but she did great.

HAPPY 4th!!!

Today was a day we spend with family enjoying a wonderful cookout and some fireworks in the back yard. It is always fun to go watch fireworks but we truely enjoyed spending the time with the family and letting the kids relax and enjoy themselves.
